2004, December 25. Vrej Atabekian, Member of the UAN sent Christmas Greetings to LRUN

2004, November 20. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• to implement a suggestion by the LRUN Head, K.Ignatavicius to call
  an extraordinary Seimas (Parliament) in 2005 to make changes in the
  statutes of the LRUN..

•  to form a group to prepare the statute changes. The group members
  are as follows: K.Ignatavicius, D. Baikstys, Z. Vaskevicius, V. Vaitiekunas, J.Ragauskas, K. Tracevskis, A. Stankus.

• an accurate count was made of members, who pay yearly fees.
  M. Vardziukevicius was obligated to take care for premises Stikliu 4.

• to approve the project of regulations regarding the Historical Center of Estates Culture. The board which was elected includes: U. Nasvytyte, J. Ragauskas, G. Reimeris, G. Jukneviciene, M. Vardziukevicius, K.Tracevskis, D. Balciauskas. M.Vardziukevicius was elected as temporary director.

• the legitimization of 15 new nobles descendants were approved by Senate: 8 - from Vilnius, 7 - from Kaunas districts;

• it was decided to prepare a new edition of the book "Bajoru
  Palikuoniai", by supplementing the content and eliminating any existing errors. It is foreseen as a subscription..

• the next meeting of the Senate was agreed to. It will be on January
  22, 2005.

2004, October 23. A soiree and the concert took part in the Lithuanian Technical Bibliotheca in occasion of Music Day. Musician dr. V.Bakutyte told about previous musical culture of the estates.

<2004, October 2. The group of LRUN members visited old estates in the Middle of Lithuania.

2004, September 25. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• to create a commission for oversee of the Statute;
• to form a group for preparing of certificate of Honorary Nobleman (Rukas Daujotis);
• the legitimization of 49 new members was approved by Senate: 26 - from Vilnius, 3 - from Kaunas, 1 -  from Panevezys, 13 - from Klaipeda, 6 - from Telsiai districts;
• to establish a Historical Center of Estates Culture in the LRUN Nobility Palace;
• to determine true LRUN members (who pay a members fee);
• to make agreement with St. Casimir Order and Philharmonic for future collaboration.

2004, July 03. A dramatization of the popular upprising which occurred in 1794 against Czarism took part in Vilnius old city. The members of LRUN took part as well:

2004, July 03. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• the report about activity of Nobility Palace was presented  (U. Nasvytyte), - work was estimated as satisfactory;
• Nobility Palace Council were released and a temporarily comission of 10 person was confirmed to prepare new reguliations regarding the Nobility Palace Council till next Senate meeting;
• Virginija Daugirdiene was confirmed as Deputy Head for Inner and Cultural Relations (from Kaunas division);
• Rasa Rudzkyte  was confirmed as new head secretary;
• Zenonas Vaskevicius was elected and confirmed  as Marshal of the Senate (from Kaunas division);
• there was presented and confirmed a new programme of LRUN activity  for the year 2004-2006 (K. Ignatavicius, R.Zaborskis, R.Daujotis);
• the control numbers were presented and confirmed for the LRUN expenses for the year 2004-2006 (Chancellor D.Baikstys);
• the legitimization of 12 new members was approved by Senate: 4 - from Kaunas, 8 - from Vilnius divisions;
• it was decided to congratulate Prezident of Lithuania and general public on the ocassion of State Day in Lithuania;
• it was decided to purchase domain for LRUN website;
• next meeting of the Senate was agreed to for September 25.

2004, June 12. In the meeting of Legitimization Council Bronislavas  Vonsavicius was elected as chairman. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• the new  regalia were presented to the new members of the Senate;
• the new landmark for the activity of LRUN and the new structure of LRUN were presented;
• Deputies of LRUN were confirmed:
  • Raimundas Zaborskis - for International Relations;
  • Arturas Rukas Daujotis - for Historian Genealogical Relations;
• Donatas Baikstys was confirmed as  LRUN Chancellor; and Daina Janilioniene as treasurer;
• Jadvyga Daskeviciene Nedzinskaite was confirmed as archivist;
• three people: B. Girevicius  from Vilnius, A. Bucys  from Klaipeda, A. Bartasevicius from Kaunas divisions were elected and confirmed as Board Overseers;
• LRUN financial report made more acurate;
• it was decided to plan LRUN budget;
• the legitimization of 71 new members was approved by Senate:  (64 from Vilnius, 1 from Kaunas, 3  - each from Panevėzys and Siauliai divisions;
• next meeting of the Senate is projected to take place on July 3.

The meeting with Edmundas Rimsa, author of the new book "Heraldry",  took place after the Senate meeting.

2004, May 30. The Great Party took place in the Nobility Palace on the
occasion of the LRUN 10th anniversary.

• The Saint Mass was held by nobleman and priest Saulius Bytautas in the chapel of Count Tiskevicius in Traku Voke;

• The old and new authorities of LRUN greeted the participants of party.

• The ensemble of Renaissance Dances "Puelli Vilnensis" gave a performance and the Lithuanian Military Brass Band gave a concert.

• The title of Honorary Noblemen and Honorary Members were presented, and certificates for Supporters of LRUN.

• The 16 new members gave an oath of allegiance and received their statements of nobility recognition;

• the party continued with entertainment.

2004, May 29. The 6th Convention (Seimas) of LRUN.

• Sir Conrad Swan, KCVO, KGCN, PhD, FSA (Fellow of the Society of Antiquariesof London), the Representative of President Valdas Adamkus, Stanley Balzekas, the President of the Balzekas Museum of Lithuanian Culture all congratulated the Seimas.

• the reports of LRUN Head, Chancellor and Marshal of the Senate, and other were presented;

• the revisions to the LRUN Statutes were confirmed;

• 18 candidates for Honorary Nobleman title were presented, 8 from them were confirmed; U.Nasvytyte, K. Bogdanas, B. Vonsavicius, I. Svetlauskiene, R. Kliucinskas, I. Sulciene, V. Gabreniene, V. Rimgaila;

• the Legitimization Council and Honour Tribunal were confirmed;

• the Senate's 50 members were confirmed: 22 - from Vilnius, 15 - from Kaunas, 4 - from Klaipeda, at 2 members - each from Telsiai, Taurage and Siauliai, 3 - from Panevezys;

• Kęstutis Ignatavičius elected as LRUN Head.

2004, May 22. The Senate meeting, which took place in the City hall of Kaunas, resolved the following:

• the new regalia, red neck ties with medal and anniversary data on it, were presented to Head, Chancellor of LRUN, and to Marshal of the Senate, and blue neck ties to all members of the Senate;

• the new version of the nobleman's oath of enlisment was confirmed;

• three individuals - Stanley Balzek; Kazys Varnelis, and Edmundas Rimsa were confirmed as Honorary members of LRUN;

• it was resolved to confirm a number of Honorary Noblemen: 5 members each of the Vilnius and Kaunas divisions, 2 members each of the Klaipeda, Siauliai and Panevezys divisions, and 1 members each of Telsiai and Taurage divisions;

• the new changes of LRUN Statute were confirmed;

• the problems of the Organization of Seimas were considered.

The Senate meeting took place in Kaunas in the day of city birthday. Head of LRUN Undine Nasvytyte congratulated  Kaunas on its birthday.

2004, April 19 and 26. The meetings of Committee for organization of the Seimas took place.

• the Programme of the Seimas was considered and confirmed;

• the tasks for members of Committee were assigned;

• the programme for the anniversary party and the list of quests were also considered;

2004,  April 17.  The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• to confirm the regulations regarding the status of an LBKS Honorary Nobleman;

• to consider a new version of the nobleman's oath of enlistment;

• to form a commitee of 18 persons to organize the next Seimas (Convention);

• to confirm the Regalia project for Senate members;

• to confirm 55 new legitimized LBKS members (3 from Klaipeda, 18 from Kaunas and 34 - from Vilnius divisions).

• to establish a fee of $50 for producing a copy of the Statement of the Nobility in English for the foreign members.

The meeting with Edmundas Rimsa author of the new book "Heraldry" took place after the Senate meeting.

2004, April 03. The Small Seimelis (Convention) of the Vilnius division took place.

• There was elected a Council of the Vilnius division and  a Council of Legitimization, Board of Overseers, the delegates to Seimas (Convention), to be held at the end of May.

• 12 LRUN members were presented with Thankful Certificates for active participation in LRUN activity.

• In the new Vilnius Division meeting the new Chief person - Jonas
  Ragauskas and Chancellor - Gintautas Petkevicius were elected.

2004, March 6. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• the regulations to confer the status of LRUN Honorary membership were defined more precisely and were confirmed;

• there was also consideration given to the Regulations Project for Honorary Noblemen Name. The confirmation will follow at the next LRUN Senate meeting, to be held on April 17;

• the Project Study of LRUN Regalia was also considered;

• the legitimization of 32 new members was approved by Senate: 18 - from Vilnius, 7 - from Klaipeda, 7 - from Telsiai districts.

• the photo of LRUN Senate was taken to commemorate the occasion of the forthcoming 10th LRUN anniversary.

  2004-02-08. LRUN received 2003-2004 Golden Web Award from IAWMD   (International Association of Web Masters & Designers) in recognition of creativity, integrity and excellence on the Web.

2004, January. LRUN published  our Calendar for the year 2004  including the coats of arms of supporters of the Nobility Palace.

2004 January 24. The Senate meeting resolved the following:

• to make changes in the Statute (3.2. ir 3.3.)

• to organize small Seimas (Conventions) in the regional division of LRUN

• to confirm 26 new legitimized LRUN members

• to provide a translation of the Statement of the Nobility in English along with the original version in Lithuanian for the foreign members.
