THE LITHUANIAN ROYAL UNION OF NOBILITY RULES FOR THE TITLE
OF THE HONORARY MEMBER

I GENERAL RULES

1. The rules provide :
1.1. The requirement and order for granting and terminating the title of Honorary Member.of the LRUN.
1.2. The rights and obligations of the Honorary Member of the LRUN.

II ORDER FOR GRANTING THE TITLE OF HONORARY MEMBER

2. The title of a Honorary Member for non-members of the LRUN may be granted to citizens of the Republic of Lithuania as well as to aliens for their exceptional merits to the LRUN .
3. The exceptional merits to the LRUN are considered: an active propagation of the LRUN in Lithuania and abroad or promoting its influence in the general public.
4. The title of Honorary Member cannot be granted to persons whose actions violate the Independence of Lithuania, its sovereignty or territorial integrity, or have been convicted of deliberate crimes and the conviction was not revoked according the law.
5. The title of Honorary Member is granted by 2/3 majority vote of all the members of the Senate.
6. To propose the candidates for the title of the Honorary Member the following have the right:
6.1. the LRUN Convention;
6.2. the members of the LRUN Senate;
6.3. the District by the resolution of their Committee.
7. The Senate confirmed LRUN Honorary Members are presented with a Certificate granting the LRUN title of Honorary Member and a badge.

III BASIS AND ORDER FOR TERMINATING THE TITLE OF HONORARY MEMBER

8. A person forfeits the titile of Honorary Member if the Senate adopts the appropriate resolution by 2/3 majority vote of all the members of the Senate.
9. The decision foreseen in the 1st part of this article the Senate adopts in the same manner as stated in the 6th article.

IV RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HONORARY MEMBER

10. The Honorary Members of the LRUN have the right:
10.1. to participate in the cultural events of the LRUN on equal basis with the LRUN members;
10.2. to make proposals to the LRUN Convention about the activity of the LRUN.
11. The LRUN Senate referring to the same manner as stated in the 6th article, may grant the LRUN Honorary Members other special rights or privileges if not in contradiction with the LRUN Statute.
12. The Honorary Members of the LRUN are obligated:
12.1 to propagate the values of the Nobiliy of Lithuania inside the country and abroad;
12.2 to take an active part in the activity of LRUN and support its planned events.
12.3. to organize when possible financial support for the LRUN needs.
